Night:City, a brand-new musical written by Carys, premiered in the UK on July 25, 2026, inviting audiences into a mind-bending world where urban legends live and reality is never quite what it seems.
Described as a musical like never before, Night:City takes audiences beneath the familiar surface of the urban landscape and into the darkest, hidden corners of the streets. As worlds collide, the story unfolds as an emotional roller coaster that challenges audiences to question everything—including what is real.
At its heart, Night:City is an invitation to escape the everyday—one song at a time. The album captures the show’s deliberately eclectic sound, moving seamlessly between intimate ballads, rock, instrumental passages, electronic textures and techno-inspired compositions. The unconventional musical palette combines with a story that ventures beyond the visible city to creates a world where familiar streets conceal extraordinary possibilities. And so the album reflects the unpredictable world at the heart of Carys’s creation.
Featuring the cast from the stage production, the album also showcases synth maestro David Wright, whose production expertise helped Carys bring the musical’s distinctive sonic vision to life. Wright also lends his vocals to one of the album’s tracks.
With its ambitious blend of theatre, storytelling and diverse musical influences, Night:City offers audiences a journey into the unknown: a place where urban myths become reality and nothing can be taken entirely at face value.

Downloads

Note to iOS uses
Apple iOS up to and including iOS 8 won’t download zip files in Safari. The easiest way around this is to download the zip files onto a computer and then open the zip and transfer the tracks into iTunes (just drag the folder onto the iTunes icon in the dock). Then sync the iOS device to iTunes in the normal way.
Alternatively, there are apps in the Apple App store that will open zip files directly on your iOS device (iPhone/iPad).
