Firstly, in these strange times, we hope you, our fans and customers, are all keeping safe and well.
It has been a while since we lasted updated our news page. Like everyone else we have been dealing with the personal and business effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
We’re happy to report that we are all safe and well and that there are a number of exciting releases and events on the horizon for 2020.
Instead of listing a whole lot of events and album today, we will be getting back into more regular news posts from now on. So please keep an eye on more regular news updates in the AD Music page, which will be shared via Facebook and Twitter links.
So we’ll start with a couple of updates:
Obviously, E-Scape 2020 has been cancelled due to the pandemic but AD Music will be releasing an E-Scape 2020 CD/downloads sampler in June featuring exclusive music from the artists who would have performed at the event. All money will go to the Mencap charity and AD Music would like to thank all the artists for contributing music for the CD.
If you haven’t already replied to us about your E-Scape ticket refund, please do contact us as soon as possible. We are offering full refund of course, or the option to purchase CDs (with free postage) up to the value of the ticket you purchased. Alternatively, if you wish to donate your ticket money to Mencap through the ‘Just Giving’ page, then that would be great.
The latest CD release is from Carys and is titled WolfSong.
This isn’t electronic music, but Carys (who has worked with David Wright on several em projects and concert in recent years) releases her solo albums thru AD. These are a unique combination of folk and rock with David Wright’s input on synths and rhythms, and as engineer and producer. The WolfSong download is now available, with the CD being released on May 22nd. The CD is available to pre-order here.
We have a lot more news to follow, including forthcoming new releases from Divine Matrix and Catalin Marin. Plus there is news of three projects from David Wright; an exciting Sci fi soundtrack/ebook collaboration with Matt Howarth titled ‘The Lost Colony’; a collaboration with Stephan Whitlan called ’The Reflecting Sky’, and David’s overdue 30 year retrospective collection entitled ’Stars”. Plus, there is news of forthcoming online concerts by David Wright and more. So watch this space!
Until next time….
